Ventura County Adult Education Consortium
Ventura County Consortium for Adult Education lacked a comprehensive website and materials that adequately communicated who they were and what they do as a consortium managing nine adult education schools and three community colleges. Their previous brand identity did not reflect their diverse agencies and they lacked brand recognition that could help them establish an identity within their communities.

Akkedis Digital was assigned with designing a new website for Ventura County
Consortium for Adult Education that was more user-friendly for those looking for
resources provided by the consortium. We were also tasked with creating materials that gave a general overview of what the consortium does to better inform the community. To accomplish these goals, our approach included:
- Brand Redesign: We designed a new logo that better reflects the region that
Ventura County Consortium For Adult Education serves, bringing visual elements together to communicate the diversity of the area. - Website Overhaul: The consortium’s website underwent a complete overhaul
that aligned with the new brand identity and created a more streamlined
experience for those in the community in need of finding resources regarding adult education options. - Outreach Materials: We created a 12-page booklet that highlights the
consortium’s agencies and what they offer, going into detail about what programs are available where and presenting the information in an aesthetically pleasing and easily digested manner. - Postcard Mailers: To better inform the surrounding communities of the
consortium and its agencies, we designed attractive postcard mailers that were sent out via direct mail to highlight the programs offered to nearby residents.

Conclusion:
The comprehensive brand identity transformation for Ventura County Consortium For Adult Education successfully established them within in their community as a resource for adult education options, leading to more of the public being informed about their agencies and what’s offered to them.
